She is so easy to handle and is a favorite pony with the kids at our Day Camp program. Poplar is loaded full of curls and carries her sire's sabino markings. This year we were so fortunate to have a second Curly pony filly born here at Double J & D Acres. *Summer is a beautiful minimal tobiano bay pony. She will stay really tiny as both her parents are small ponies. *Summer's sire is *Gentleman Jim who came from one the the very first Curly pony lines, the McKay pony line. This line of ponies was said to have descended from Original Curly Jim...see more information on Curly Jim here. *Summer will make an exceptional pony for breeding to Miniature Horses as there are only a few Miniature Curly Horses in existence today. We are offering for sale our beautiful Curly pony stallion *Gentleman Jim. *Jim is a fantastic little pony with tones of character. He has been a great stallion and has successfully produced 13 foals over the years, 11 of which have had full bodied curly coats, 1 with a Bunny Fur type curly coat and 1 straight coated foal. He is one of the smallest Curly pony stallions in the world and is perfect to add to a Miniature Horse breeding program to create your own Miniature Curly horses. *Gentleman Jim would also be fantastic to add to a pony breeding facility as he has successfully bred mid - large sized ponies as well as Miniature horses. *Jim comes from the original McKay pony bloodline and has a very well known pedigree on his sire's side.
